The 1850 Census of New Lebanon, New York lists in house number 175, family number 185, Isaac Salls, age 75, Laborer, $350 real estate, born in New York State & Esther Salls, age 79. The same census also lists Clarinda Betts, age 45, pauper, as being part of the household.
The 1855 census of New Lebanon, New York lists in house number 286, family number 308, Isaac Sarles, age 80, Farmer, $400 frame house, born in Columbia County, New York, lived in New Lebanon, New York 80 years. Esther Sarles, age 84, wife of Isaac Sarles, born in Connecticut, lived in New Lebanon, New York 65 years.
