Lois W. Salls
SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Lois W. Salls of White Street died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at her home following a long illness.
She was 72.
Born on August 6, 1934 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Andrew C. Wilson, Sr. and the late Bernice (Cole) Wilson. She was a 1952 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. Mrs. Salls married Donald G. Salls on Dec. 10, 1955 at the First Methodist Church in Saratoga Springs.
The couple resided on White Street in Saratoga Springs since 1961. Mrs. Salls worked as an aide at Caroline Street Elementary School in Saratoga Springs for 19 years.
Following her retirement in 1991, she volunteered at the Saratoga Hospital Emergency Room for several years. Survivors besides her husband include one son, David W. Salls and his wife Jacqueline Barg of Argyle; two grandsons, Wilson and Eli Salls of Argyle; and her sister-in-law, Joan (Rothe) Wilson of Saratoga Springs. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother, the late Andrew C. Wilson, Jr.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Mrs. Salls' name be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007, Attn.: Breast Cancer Research.

Amaryllis Salls
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., Amaryllis W. Salls passed away March 21, 2004, in Walnut Creek, Calif., at age 88.
She was born June 19, 1915, and was a former resident of Alamo, Calif. She graduated from nursing school in 1942 and was associated with Columbia Presbyterian School of Nursing Alumni. She was a member of the St. Paul s Episcopal Church in Walnut Creek. She enjoyed education, art and music.
She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth S. Barra of Chicago, Ill., and Alayne S. Heck of Richland, W.Va.; a son, Roger D. Salls of Stratford, Conn.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Salls, on Aug. 7, 1988. Memorial service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Paul s Episcopal Church Chapel, 1924 Trinity Ave., Walnut Creek, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Hospice of Contra Costa County.

Florence L. Salls, 77, Collins Terrace, Central Square, a native of Saranac Lake, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Central Square. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Michael's Church or the American Heart Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Cora Walts, Central Square; a brother, Archie Yelle, Spring Hill, Fla.; five grandsons, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Born March 30, 1918, at Saranac Lake, Mrs. Salls lived in Central Square for 50 years. She retired in 1973 as an assembler with the electronics department of Crouse-Hinds Co., Central Square. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, the auxiliary of Fuller-Taylor Post 915, American Legion, the MIA and the Central Square Senior Citizens Club.
